Can Arts & Ecology help me with funding for a potential project?

Unfortunately, RSA Arts & Ecology also relies on external funding to enable the project to exist. Therefore and regrettably we are not in a position to accept funding proposals for projects.  However, your projects and work are of interest to us and we invite you to send us information about your practice which can be profiled through links to your website in the Your Space area of the site.

For more information about Arts Funding in general please see the Artquest website and check our Opportunities section.

I am an artist interested in ecological issues, how can I get involved in the Arts & Ecology programme?

For a start please visit the Your Projects area.  We are able to profile your work and projects through links to your website.  If you would like to be included in this section please drop us a line with your name and a link to the relevant site.  We will then bookmark your site through del.icio.us and it will be available for others to see.

I am interested in undertaking an internship/paid work in the Arts & Ecology area, how can I find out about these opportunities?

For those interested in undertaking an internship with Arts & Ecology we ask you to send us an up to date CV and a brief covering letter outlining the reason for your interest in Arts & Ecology and any specific areas of the project you would like to focus on.

Internships last up to 3 months and require a commitment of at least 2 days per week. These positions are unpaid though lunch and travel within London is paid for.

Currently there are no paid positions with Arts & Ecology.

I am organising an event around ecological issues - is it possible for me to publicise it through your site?

Yes. We can include information on your event on our online calendar which can be found in the dashboard content to your right. Send us information about your event for inclusion in the calendar.

If you would like specific help or advice related to your event you might like to post information in the Opportunities section – click here to visit this page or send us details of your opportunity.

I am interested in introducing an Arts & Ecology project to the school I study at/work at, do you have an education strand to the programme?

We are not currently involved in education work though we did conduct a series of education pilots in the research phase of Arts and Ecology. Click here to read more about these and download the evaluation.

You may also be interested to check out our directory which compiles a list of universities with related arts and ecology courses.

My organisation has similar concerns to the Arts & Ecology project - is there a way we can link up?

Firstly we would like to add your details to the online directory – this will also be a valuable resource for people who are looking to make connections with you. Please email us with the details of your organisation.

We are a small team with a focussed project, though if you have a specific idea for involvement that relates to our current work please let us know.

I would like to get in touch with an artist / speaker / individual that Arts & Ecology has worked with in the past – can you provide me with the contact details?

Due to RSA policy, we are unable to provide contact details of any third party. However in special circumstances we can pass on e-mails to individuals.  Send these to art@rsa.org.uk

Can I profile my work in the magazine section?

The magazine section is a curated area of the site and our team will source new projects through independent research and recommendations as well as the work profiled in The Hub area of our site.

Do you have any newsletters that I can sign up for?

Yes, please add your details to our mailing list.  You can do this through the dashboard on your right.

What is the history of the Arts at the RSA?

Can I suggest books or propose poll questions?

Yes! We would love you to. Let us know your thoughts.

Does the RSA have an exhibition space?

Poll

As an artist, are you aware of the impact your own practice has on the environment?

Yes, and I consider that when chosing processes and materials.

Yes, but it's better to think of the art first, and the materials and processes second.

No, it's not a consideration when I make my art.
