Sustainable Art AwardsBash Creations invited all artists, performers and speakers involved in environmental issues to a national competition to find the best in sustainable and eco art.

The shortlisted artists included in an exhibition at BASH studios are Open Sailing Crew, Jools Johnson, Elisabeth Buecher, Kate Rich, Johnny Hines, Ruth Catlow and Marc Garrett, Fran Crowe, Andrew Merritt, Circus Kinetica (James Caldicott, Sam Apley and Sam Duby) and Jess Brass.

The judges of the Sustainable Art Awards 2009 are curator Laure Florence Tremlett-Genillard, Paul Carey-Kent of Art World Magazine, Anna Blackman, the founder of PhotoVoice, Cedric Christie, Jenny Batles of Friends of the Earth and Michaela Crimmin, head of the RSA Arts & Ecology Centre.
