Cape Farewell have been invited by the Salisbury Festival to contribute to their creative programme during the 2009 festival with art works, film screenings and a panel discussion.

For the panel discussion, three of the Arctic expeditioners, including Siobhan Davies and Jonathan Dove, tell of their experiences and how their art practice was informed by the wild arctic experience, the scientific engagement on climate change and how the artistic voice can engage with the very important subject of climate change. Cape Farewell director David Buckland will outline the objectives and successes of the project and each of the artists will show and tell of their arctic experiences and the art that has been made by them on their return.

The film, which was directed by award-winning filmmaker David Hinton and produced by David Buckland was first shown as part of Climate Chaos - a major season of BBC programmes on the science behind and issues surrounding climate change.
