Tue Greenfort

Modern life is rubbish

ARTIST: Tue Greenfort

LOCATION: London

Working in partnership with Arts Council England, London, RSA Arts and Ecology commissioned Berlin-based, Danish artist Tue Greenfort to make work with an ecological interest for the capital.

Tue's proposal was selected following a series of site visits in both London and Ghana. In September 2006 Tue spent three months on a residency with the RSA in order to develop his proposal addressing the waste management system in London. His project was realised 2008 at Frieze Art Fair.

Poll

As an artist, are you aware of the impact your own practice has on the environment?

Yes, and I consider that when chosing processes and materials.

Yes, but it's better to think of the art first, and the materials and processes second.

No, it's not a consideration when I make my art.
